

Competitive VEX IQ training moves students beyond basic assembly into high-performance alliance team strategy. Teammates collaborate on iterative chassis designs, multi-stage gear reduction ratios, physical motor placement, and sensor-driven field navigation during simulated 60-second match play.
In addition to physical robot construction and driver control, students maintain detailed engineering notebooks logging structural CAD drawings, C++ autonomous logic, and driver telemetry adjustments to defend their design decisions before official tournament judge panels.
